James M. Moakley

James M. Moakley serves as in-house counsel for public companies, primarily responsible for advising management on matters of corporate governance, internal controls, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and risk management and preparing 1933 Act and 1934 Act filings, including proxy statements, Forms 10-K and 10-Q and registration statements.

Prior to going in-house, Mr. Moakley worked as an associate in the corporate departments of White & Case, LLP and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, drafting diverse contracts (including employment agreements, registration rights agreements, confidentiality agreements and noncompetition agreements).

He received his bachelor's degree, with high distinction, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and his JD, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center.

Mr. Moakley is licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey and Florida.
