Professor Zanglein has served as the plan administrator of multi-employer pension and health plans.
She headed the ERISA department at a New York City law firm where she successfully represented union plans and employees.
Professor Zanglein has an international reputation on pension plan investments and is recognized as a national expert on employee benefits issues.
She is a mediator and arbitrator and has been appointed as an expert witness in employee benefit cases.
Professor Zanglein has served on various task forces including Governor Cuomo's Task Force on Pension Fund Investments; has developed a national trustee education program on behalf of the Center for Working Capital; and has worked with South African trustees and the government of Ontario on pension reform.
She resides in the Smoky Mountains and teaches at Western Carolina University.
Professor Zanglein received her BME from Berklee College of Music and graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a JD.
