Julie H. Cox is a teaching instructor within the Human Performance Lab at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.
Ms. Cox graduated with an MA in Exercise Physiology and has since taught within the university and in clinical rehabilitation programs.
She has written publications for such scientific journals as Applied Physiology as well as features for monthly consumer magazines.
Ms. Cox has written a student-activities workbook for McGraw-Hill, Glencoe publishing and has done a variety of other creative writing over the past 15 years.
She has helped develop and write policies and procedures for a cardiac, pulmonary and diabetes education program at Hilton Head Medical Center and Clinics.
Ms. Cox's involvement in teaching and certification with the American College of Sports Medicine keeps her abreast of the knowledge in the policies, research findings and regulations in the areas of sports medicine and exercise science.
