Kenneth H. Pritchard is the owner of The Lighthouse Companies, a diversified business based in Maryland that specializes in HR management consulting - strategic human capital planning, compensation, job evaluation, employment, competency modeling and assessment, organization analysis and design, workforce and succession planning, organization and employee development, performance management and more.
Mr. Pritchard has authored more than 50 essays, monographs and other writings, including "Competency-Based Leadership for the 21st Century", a 1998 refereed essay-contest award winner.
He was a member of the national Compensation and Benefits Committee of SHRM, 1991-2003, which included service as chair, compensation subcommittee, 1997-2000.
In addition, Mr. Pritchard is a member of SHRM, WorldatWork, the American Society for Training and Development, the American Management Association, the International Personnel Management Association-HR, and the International Personnel Assessment Council.
He is a cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland, the US Army Command and General Staff College and a Certified Compensation Professional.
Mr. Pritchard also holds certificates from Cornell University International Labor Relations School in Diversity Management (2010), Labor Relations-Collective Bargaining (2009) and Management Development-Management Studies (2005).
