Mr. Fogt defends employers in litigation in state and federal courts and administrative agencies against employee claims such as for alleged violations of whistleblower, discrimination and wage-and-hour laws.
He also advises employers on a variety of matters, including employee handbooks, noncompete agreements and reductions in force.
Mr. Fogt has previously co-authored publications on legal issues currently affecting employers, including the whistleblower provisions of the Dodd-Frank Act, social media policies and wage-and-hour laws.
He is a graduate of The Ohio State University where he received his BA, magna cum laude.
Mr. Fogt obtained his JD from the University of Iowa College of Law where he graduated with high distinction and was named to the Order of the Coif.
