Ms. McGill is a member of the labor and employment practice group and the municipal, legislative and regulatory practice group.
Her practice includes all aspects of employment and labor relations law on behalf of employers in the private and public sectors, including issues involving private and public sector labor laws; union avoidance; labor management negotiations; Title VII, Maine and federal disabilities laws and other discrimination matters; workplace safety; wage and hour; executive compensation and employment contracts; and intellectual property issues in employment law.
Ms. McGill provides counsel and training on a wide variety of employment issues to businesses and governmental units throughout Maine and New England.
In addition to her work with private and public employers throughout Maine and New England, Ms. McGill has taught employment discrimination law as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Maine School of Law and has published numerous articles on current employment law issues.
She also serves as a private mediator in employment disputes and as an interest arbitrator in public sector bargaining disputes.
