Lindsey M. Hogan is a member of the Faegre Baker Daniels' labor and employment group which covers the spectrum of issues affecting employment relations, employee mobility, and compensation and benefits.
Ms. Hogan advises employers across the country and focuses her practice on employment litigation and counseling clients regarding proper employment practices and risk management.
She provides clients with a wide variety of services, including serving as litigation counsel, policy and procedure implementation to avoid discrimination litigation, employee handbook review and retaliatory claim avoidance policies.
Ms. Hogan has represented employers in employment discrimination complaints in federal court and before the EEOC and numerous equivalent state agencies.
She has represented employers in a variety of claims, including discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation and family leave.
Ms. Hogan has also represented employers in wage and hour disputes under the FLSA, the Illinois Minimum Wage Law and the Illinois Wage Payment and Collection Act.
She has advocated for clients at settlement and mediation conferences to obtain favorable agreements.
Ms. Hogan also has represented physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice actions and lawyers in legal malpractice actions in all stages of litigation, including drafting and responding to written discovery, deposing fact and expert witnesses, orally arguing motions, and preparing responsive and dispositive pleadings.
