Marcy McGovern is a knowledge management attorney in the Pittsburgh office of Littler Mendelson, PC, the largest US-based law firm exclusively devoted to representing management in every aspect of labor and employment law.
As an attorney in the knowledge management department, Ms. McGovern creates and manages legal and electronic resources to assist in counseling employers in all areas of labor and employment law.
Her practice includes matters arising under Title VII and the ADA.
Ms. McGovern's litigation experience has involved representing clients in administrative proceedings, class and collective actions, and single plaintiff cases.
She utilizes this experience to assist the firm in developing internal and external resources that promote the efficient handling of employment-related litigation.
Ms. McGovern also regularly works with practitioners in numerous firm practice areas including discrimination/ harassment, leaves of absence and disability accommodation, workers' compensation, and employee benefits.
During law school, she served as a judicial extern to US District Judge Yvette Kane in the US District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Ms. McGovern received her JD from the Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law in 2006, magna cum laude, and her BA/BS from Millersville University in 2003, magna cum laude.
