Mark T. Phillis is a shareholder in the Pittsburgh office of Littler Mendelson, PC, the largest US-based law firm exclusively devoted to representing management in every aspect of labor and employment law.
Mr. Phillis handles a wide range of employment issues with a focus on those related to FMLA and ADA.
He also handles cases involving unlawful discrimination and harassment, wage and hour issues and ERISA.
Mr. Phillis represents employers in federal and state courts and before the EEOC, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission and other administrative agencies.
A frequent speaker at seminars, he also conducts training for employers on topics such as harassment prevention, investigations and recruiting
Mr. Phillis serves as co-chair of the firm's diversity and inclusion council and was one of the founding shareholders of the Pittsburgh office.
He received his JD from the University of Michigan Law School in 1992 and his BS from Georgetown University in 1986, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa.
