Michael N. Chesney is a partner at Frantz Ward LLP who focuses his practice on the representation of management in all phases of labor relations and employment litigation, labor arbitrations, administrative complaints and charges, and strike disputes.
Mr. Chesney also advises clients on HR issues, including preventive counseling, developing personnel policies, and drafting employment agreements.
He frequently presents at seminars on a number of employment law topics.
Mr. Chesney was recognized as an "Ohio Super Lawyer" for 2009-2012; was the lead note editor, Notre Dame Law Review; and was the recipient of the Fairbaugh Prize for High Scholarship in Law.
He also co-authored "State Action and the Peremptory Challenge: Evolution of the Court's Treatment and Implications for Georgia v. McCollum," 67 Notre Dame Law Review 1049 (1992).
Mr. Chesney received his JD, summa cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame.
