Patrick F. Martin is a shareholder in the Miami office of Littler Mendelson, PC, the largest US-based law firm exclusively devoted to representing management in every aspect of labor and employment law.
Mr. Martin focuses his practice on representing employers of all sizes and in all industries in employment matters before state and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies such as the EEOC and the Florida Commission on Human Relations.
Additionally, he also advises employers on day-to-day personnel matters and emphasizes the importance of striking the correct balance between the business and legal issues that arise in HR decisions.
Mr. Martin was named as one of the Best Lawyers in America in 2012.
He has authored articles relating to the ADA, including "EEOC Issues Regulations Under the ADA Amendments Act" and "Congress Tells the Courts How to Interpret ADA", and has also provided training on similar issues.
Prior to joining Littler Mendelson, Mr. Martin served as an assistant attorney general for the state of Florida.
He received his JD from Florida State University in 1993 and his BA from the University of Virginia, 1990.
