Ms. Winters works predominately with hospitals and manufacturers, offering advice, counseling and representation regarding employment discrimination claims arising under Title VII, Section 1981, the ADEA and ADA.
She regularly appears before various federal district and appellate courts and administrative agencies.
Ms. Winters is actively involved in national and local bar associations and served as a board member of the Cook County Bar Association Minority Law Student Job Fair Committee for two years.
Prior to joining Littler Mendelson, Ms. Winters served as a federal judicial law clerk to the Hon. Curtis L. Collier, Chief US District Judge for the Eastern District of Tennessee, where she conducted legal research and drafted legal memoranda to prepare Judge Collier for trial and hearings with respect to both criminal and civil matters.
She also drafted judicial opinions at the district and appellate court levels.
While attending Vanderbilt University Law School, Ms. Winters served as development editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law, an associate justice for the Vanderbilt Moot Court Board, and a National Mock Trial specialist with the National Black Law Students' Association.
