Ryan F. Donovan has been working for a national payroll provider for more than seven years.
In Mr. Donovan's current position there, he specializes in the processing and supporting of benefit accruals and amendments (Forms W-2c) and in employee tax jurisdiction changes, and recently served in a payroll technical support role for the western sector of the US.
He has also been heavily involved in compliance matters relating to local payroll taxes, SOX, and E-Verify/Form I-9 tracking.
Mr. Donovan has supported multistate payrolls ranging in size from less than ten to more than a thousand employees.
He also teaches classes for the wage-and-hour law section of his employer's CPP exam study group.
Mr. Donovan possesses an MBA and an MHR from Ottawa University in Kansas.
He has also earned the Certified Payroll Professional designation from the American Payroll Association, and the Professional in Human Resources designation from the Human Resources Certification Institute.
