She has successfully represented employers in a variety of employment disputes involving alleged violations of federal and state employment statutes and common law claims in federal and state courts and administrative agencies.
In addition to litigation, Ms. Benjes advises employers daily regarding a wide range of workplace issues, including employee hiring, discipline and discharge matters, accommodating qualified employees with disabilities and complying with wage and hour laws.
Ms. Benjes received her BA, cum laude from Harvard University, and her JD, Order of the Coif, from the University of Denver College of Law. While in law school, she was the editor-in-chief of the Denver University Law Review.
Prior to law school, Ms. Benjes worked in HR for the ski industry for six years and was most recently the senior manager of HR and international staffing for Vail Resorts, Inc.
