Susan Tahernia

Susan Tahernia was in private practice with several nationally recognized law firms before working within the corporate legal departments of companies in several different industries, including the leading provider of integrated food and facilities management services in the US, Canada, and Mexico and a preeminent business integration and optimization software company as vice president-legal.

Ms. Tahernia is a member of the Washington Metropolitan Area Corporate Counsel Association and the Association of Corporate Counsel where she served as its employment and labor law committee membership subcommittee co-chair for two consecutive years and currently holds the leadership position on ACC-ELLC of InfoPAK subcommittee co-chair.

She has authored numerous articles on employment relations topics and frequently conducts employment relations training programs and workshops.

Ms. Tahernia graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tulsa and received her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center where she served as an articles and notes editor of the American Criminal Law Review and as a member of the Robert F. Wagner Labor Law Moot Court Team.
