Ms. Kline focuses her practice in the area of employment law and serves as the leader of the compliance, training and transactions subgroup of the Faegre Baker Daniels labor and employment team.
She advises clients on a variety of employment-related matters and represents employers in state and federal court, before the EEOC and other state and local agencies.
Ms. Kline also provides counseling, training and policy advice and review services.
She previously worked as a chief financial officer and vice president of HR for a trade association and its for-profit subsidiary, which included providing human resources management support for the association's member organizations.
Ms. Kline gained hands-on experience in supervisor training, employee discipline and discharge, employee complaint resolution, personnel policies and procedures, and employee performance management.
She has written several articles for publication and conducts seminars on a variety of employment law subjects.
Ms. Kline graduated from Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis, summa cum laude, ranked number one in her class.
She obtained her BS, summa cum laude (1980), and MBA (1992) from Butler University.
