Terri M. Solomon is a shareholder in the New York office of Littler Mendelson, PC, the largest US-based law firm exclusively devoted to representing management in every aspect of labor and employment law.
Ms. Solomon has more than 30 years of experience practicing employment and labor law and regularly handles employment and labor relations issues; FMLA and other leaves of absence issues; compliance with federal and state employment laws; discrimination and other employment-related litigation and administrative proceedings; complicated reductions-in-force and business restructurings; and compliance with the NLRA.
Given the significant costs of litigation, she is an avid proponent of long-term business planning, management training, state-of-the-art policies and, where unavoidable conflicts do arise, alternative dispute resolution.
A substantial portion of Ms. Solomon's practice involves counseling employers on ways to avoid litigation related to difficult business decisions.
She received her JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1979 and her BA from the University of Massachusetts in 1976, summa cum laude.
Ms. Solomon is admitted to practice in both New York and New Jersey.
