When to Use This Mission Statement
The mission statement should be created and adopted by the employer's management at the beginning of a diversity and inclusion initiative. It should be distributed to all employees by the President/CEO and it should be prominently placed on the employer's intranet site and website. Its purpose is to clearly set forth the employer's commitment to diversity and inclusion worldwide. It serves as a foundation on which the Global Diversity and Inclusion initiative is based.
