Nondisclosure Agreement With Return of Materials Provisions

When to Use This Form

This form should be used when an employee is initially hired within an organization. Steps should be taken to ensure that new and existing employees understand their responsibilities to maintain the confidentiality of the employer's business information and protect against the dissemination of trade secrets and other employer property.

This form should be used in conjunction with a Confidential and Proprietary Information Policy or other Nondisclosure/Trade Secret/Confidentiality Policy. It should also be used in conjunction with the following agreements, if applicable:

  • Telecommuting Policy;
  • Telecommuting Agreement; and
  • BYOD policy.

Effective use and implementation of these agreements and policies will assist in securing employer property.
