Notice to Attend Grievance Hearing

Author: Jessica Sussman

When to Use

When a grievance has been filed, and a resulting hearing is scheduled, the employee and related parties must be notified of the hearing. Best practice dictates notice be given in writing, to avoid claims that a party was not properly informed. The notice should not only inform the parties of the date, time, and location of the hearing, but should also remind the parties of their rights at the grievance hearing.
