Health Care Reform Timeline

Author: XpertHR Editorial Team

The Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as health care reform, was enacted in an effort to:

  • Expand health care coverage;
  • Control health care costs; and
  • Improve how health care services are delivered.

The following chart links to key resources on XpertHR and summarizes major provisions of health care reform. A more comprehensive list of resources can be found in Health Care Reform.
