Promoting a Safe Workplace - Supervisor Training

Author: Jennifer Brantley

A safe workplace is one that is extremely mindful of safe and healthful practices for its employees. It is an environment in which employees tend to be more productive while on the clock because they feel their managers are looking out for them and taking good care to keep them healthy and uninjured. Employees who feel safe at work tend to have higher morale. Fewer employee injuries and illnesses mean fewer days off from work, higher productivity and also fewer workers' compensation cases. This training session looks at how an employer can promote safety at work. Topics include:

  1. Having a Safety Attitude
  2. Making Safety a Priority
  3. Encouraging Safe Behavior by Employees
  4. Preventing Accidents
  5. Developing Accountability
  6. Test Yourself
