Introduction

Employee handbooks are a persistent feature of the working world, an item so engrained in workplace culture it can evoke images of a coffee-stained shirt or the proverbial water cooler. However, despite their seemingly humble nature, employee handbooks are complex documents that cover a vast assortment of items such as benefits, compliance, and organizational values.
