California Employers: January 2023 Brings Host of New Employment Laws

California is often at the forefront of employment law developments, so it is no surprise the state has a large number of new laws directly impacting employers effective January 1. No discussion of Golden State developments would be complete without a look at the many minimum wage increases taking effect.
