Coronavirus (COVID-19): State Safety-Training Requirements

Several states are requiring that employers provide COVID-specific safety training to their employees. As a result, employers that operate in these states must comply with state-specific training mandates in addition to following federal training guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Employers should also note that many of these states have industry-specific training requirements. This resource does not address any local safety-training requirements that may apply.
