HR Budget 2021: Challenges and Key Strategies

Many times this year, businesses have made changes that never would have been considered in the past - all because the COVID-19 pandemic changed the rules of engagement virtually overnight.
Remote work. Health checks. Social distancing. Personal protective equipment (PPE). Disrupted operations.
These changes and others certainly make the process of budgeting for 2021 different than previous years, and they may also shift the approach like never before. Businesses have new state and local laws and regulations to consider, which may influence how much budget is dedicated to HR. Additionally, if 2020 did nothing else, it shed light on the importance of contingency planning as well as the need to plan for the unexpected.
