Shiftwork and Scheduling: Employment Law Manual Enhanced and Expanded
Author: XpertHR Editorial Team
At XpertHR, we strive to continually improve our tools and resources to meet the needs of HR professionals and enhance the XpertHR user experience. Based on customer feedback, we are excited to announce that XpertHR has created stand-alone federal and applicable state sections on Shiftwork and Scheduling. The sections appear within the Wage and Hour chapter of the Employment Law Manual.
Challenges regarding scheduling shifts and increasing advance-notice requirements have long concerned employers. We are continually monitoring these developments and updating content to assist users with their compliance obligations.
Although this information had been available in the Managing Employees in Special Situations section of the Employment Law Manual, we are moving the information into the new Shiftwork and Scheduling sections for a better navigation and search experience for our users.
Employers can continue to find scheduling information at their fingertips by consulting our Scheduling Laws by State and Municipality.
