Update Workplace Posters for New Year 2019

Many states and municipalities recently have added or updated workplace posters to reflect changes to or additions of minimum wage, discrimination protections and other employee-notification requirements. An employer should review the new and updated posters listed below to be sure its workplace notices are up to date for the new year.

For example, a number of state minimum wage rates have been raised, so affected employers must replace outdated posters. However, some states have incorporated changes affecting multiple years into one poster. For example, the Massachusetts Wage and Hour Laws Poster may not need to be replaced because it already contains information regarding 2019 wage requirements.

Delaware has new sexual harassment prevention requirements, and the Delaware Sexual Harassment Notice aids employers in making their workplaces more inclusive and respectful.

For more in-depth coverage, XpertHR provides its Federal Workplace Labor and Employment Law Posters chart with corresponding State Workplace and Employment Law Posters charts in addition to detailed coverage in the federal Employee Communications section of the Employment Law Manual with corresponding state sections.

The Employment Law Manual, Quick Reference and Policies and Documents tools will continue to be updated as additional changes to federal and state notice requirements become effective.
