Crime Victim Leave Handbook Statement: Missouri

Eligible employees may take time off from work to comply with a subpoena to testify in a criminal proceeding, attend a criminal proceeding or participate in the preparation of a criminal proceeding relating to a crime.

Employees are eligible for time off under this policy if they are: (1) the victim of the crime or juvenile delinquent act at issue in the proceeding; (2) a member of the victim's immediate family;
