Emergency Family and Medical Leave for Public Health Emergencies in Response to COVID-19 Handbook Statement (Addendum): Federal

The Company's FMLA policy outlines the benefits to, and expectations of, employees taking leave under the federal Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). As a temporary, emergency response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the federal government passed the Emergency Family and Medical Leave Expansion Act (EFMLEA), which provides family and medical leave for certain additional qualifying reasons related to the COVD-19 public health emergency, through December 31, 2020. This addendum to the Company's FMLA policy describes the leave the Company will provide in accordance with the EFMLEA during the time that law is in effect (April 1, 2020 - December 31, 2020).
