Family Leave Handbook Statement: New Jersey

We recognize that employees may need to be absent from work for an extended period of time for family-related reasons. Accordingly, the Company will grant time off to employees in accordance with the requirements of the New Jersey Family Leave Act (NJFLA) [insert for employers with 50 or more employees: and the federal Family and Medical Leave Act (Fed-FMLA). When both the Fed-FMLA and NJFLA apply, the leave provided by each will count against the employee's entitlement under both laws and must be taken concurrently.
