Floating Holidays Handbook Statement: California
Employees are provided floating holidays each calendar year. An employee's floating holiday allotment and pay is based on their date of hire, status at the time the employee takes the floating holiday (i.e., part-time or full-time), regularly scheduled work hours and length of service, as discussed in this policy. Floating holidays may be used for absences to celebrate a cultural, civic or religious observance or special occasion that is not formally designated as a company holiday.
