Paid Sick Time Handbook Statement [15+ Employees; Accrual Method]: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
The Company provides eligible employees with paid sick time in accordance with the Pittsburgh Paid Sick Days Act (PSDA).
Eligible Employees
All employees, including full-time and part-time employees, are generally eligible to accrue paid sick time, if they work at least 35 hours per calendar year in the City of Pittsburgh. [Insert if relevant: Eligible employees do not include "seasonal employees," meaning individuals hired for a temporary period of not more than 16 weeks during the Company's leave year who are notified at the time they are hired that their employment is limited to the beginning and ending dates of the Company's seasonal period.]
