Emergency Responder Leave
Employees who are active volunteer firefighters, volunteer members of the fire police or volunteer members of an ambulance service or rescue squad will be provided with time off from work or excused for being late to work when late or absent for the purpose of responding to a fire or ambulance call prior to regular hours of employment.
