  • New Hampshire workers' compensation covers occupational diseases that result in injury as a direct cause of employment, with some exceptions. See Occupational Diseases.
  • Firefighters, who develop diseases of the lungs or heart, as well as certain cancers, may be covered under presumptive evidence that such conditions were work-related. See Presumptive Illnesses and Conditions.
  • New Hampshire workers' compensation covers mental injuries that are caused by the work environment, as long as the injury does not result from good faith efforts of an employer. See Managing Mental Health Concerns.
