- The Pennsylvania Military Leave of Absence Act (PAMLAA) supplements the provisions of the federal law, the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Act. See Pennsylvania Military Leave.
- The PAMLAA does not specify the length of unpaid military leave to which an employee is entitled. See Leave Allotment.
- If a member of the National Guard or the military reserves is called or ordered into active federal or state duty, employers must continue health insurance and other benefits in effect for at least the first 30 days of the military leave of absence, with no cost to the employee. See Benefits During Leave.
