- State contracts must contain a nondiscrimination clause, and contractors must commit to equal employment opportunity. See State Contracts.
- Iowa law requires that state agencies implement affirmative action programs with respect to hiring of state agency employees. State agencies are required to apply affirmative action measures where appropriate. See Public Employers.
