- The Fair Employment Practices Act prohibits employment discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin/ancestry, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, or disability unrelated to job performance. - Remedies under FEPA can include compensatory and punitive damages as well as attorneys' fees. There are statutory caps on damages based on the employer's size. See Remedies.
