Summary

  • In Maine employment contracts set out the duties and terms of the employment relationship between the employee and employer and should be signed by both parties to be enforceable. See Employment Contracts.
  • In Maine, in order to be enforceable a restrictive covenant must extend no further than is reasonably necessary to protect the employer's legitimate business interests. See Restrictive Covenants.
