- Illinois' minimum wage is $11.00 per hour. It will increase gradually until it reaches $15.00 in 2025. See Minimum Wage.
- Illinois allows a credit for tipped employees up to 40 percent of the minimum wage and for the reasonable cost of meals and lodging. See Tip Credit and Credit for Meals and Lodging.
