- Montana's state minimum wage is adjusted annually based on inflation statistics. See Overview.
- Employers may not use any income from tips or service charges that is received by employees as an offset to the requirement to pay minimum wages. See Tip Credit.
- Deductions from wages are prohibited for any reason unless required or permitted by law (such as tax withholding) or court order (such as garnishment) or authorized in writing by the employee. See Deductions Below the Minimum Wage.
