Establishing a procedure for onboarding new employees will prepare them to succeed and motivate them to work hard. See Create an Onboarding Program.
  • Employers should have an orientation checklist of all the tasks that must be completed for each new employee. See Orientation.
  • An effective onboarding program continues beyond the initial weeks or months to provide new employees with coaching and support, as well as take other steps to boost employees' engagement. See After the First Day.
