  • Minnesota does not require paid sick leave for employees of private sector employers. See Paid Sick Leave.
  • A covered employer must allow eligible employees to use personal sick leave benefits for absences due to the illness or injury of a covered relative on the same terms as the employees are permitted to use the sick leave benefits for their own illness or injury. See Kin Care Leave.
