Site Search Tips

Quickly find the resources you need on XpertHR using our two types of search bars:

1. Search entire site (universal on all site pages in the top right corner)
2. Search within Tasks, Topics, Resource Types or State and Local (depending on the section of the site you are in, just below the main navigation bar)

Pro Tips: To help you get even more out of search use these top tips:

Search for an exact phrase - Use quotation marks to search for an exact phrase.

Let's compare a search for "paid sick leave" in quotation marks to a search for the same phrase without quotation marks. For example, you will notice that the resource counts are significantly lower when quotation marks are used vs. not used - most notably the Employment Law Guide in the screenshot below shows 496 vs. 4,126 results respectively.
