How to Create a Crisis Management Team

Successfully handling major situations that endanger the organization's reputation or survival are goals of a crisis management team (CMT). By definition, crisis events threaten the organization and require a short decision-making period to identify and apply strategies to correct or improve the outcome. Prompt action, communication and allocation of resources are critical elements in minimizing the negative impacts of a crisis.
