How to Create a Smoke-Free Workplace

Many employers throughout the country have chosen to enact smoke-free workplace policies to protect the health of its employees. In addition to eliminating exposure to a major cause of disease and death, a smoke-free workplace also makes sense from a business cost perspective. It reduces healthcare costs, absenteeism and lost productivity, while also decreasing maintenance costs and reducing insurance liability risks and premiums.
Creating a smoke-free workplace can be a huge undertaking, but the benefits far outweigh the time and effort.
