Special Work Arrangements
Two recent surveys show employers' and employees' opinions generally align on what post-pandemic work arrangements should look like, with hybrid work arrangements heavily favored.
Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf has signed an order requiring all businesses to conduct their operations in whole, or in part, remotely through individual teleworking of their employees unless doing so is not possible.
A recent survey by Littler reveals that a large majority of employers anticipate reopening their businesses in the next three months. At the same time, these employers are proceeding cautiously and taking numerous steps to maintain employees' safety.
DHS has announced that it is temporarily permitting certain employers to review employees' Form I-9 identity and employment authorization documents remotely.
