Barbara Rittinger Rigo is a shareholder in the Philadelphia office of Littler Mendelson, PC, the largest US-based law firm exclusively devoted to representing management in every aspect of labor and employment law.
Ms. Rigo focuses her practice on representing management in a wide range of labor and employment matters, including race, gender, age, disability and national origin discrimination claims, FMLA litigation, wage and hour class actions.
She defends clients in all types of industries, including transportation, hospitality and pharmaceutical, in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies such as the EEOC, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission and state and federal departments of labor.
Ms. Rigo focuses a large part of her practice on counseling employers on day-to-day compliance with local, state and federal statutes, such as the ADA, FMLA, ADEA, FLSA and Title VII.
She received her JD from Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law in 1995 and her BA from Saint Mary's College in 1991.
