At Barran Liebman LLP, Christina Thacker focuses her practice on employment litigation, defending employers against claims alleging gender, race, national origin, disability, workers' compensation discrimination, wrongful discharge, retaliation, sexual harassment, interference with family and medical leave laws, wage and hour violations, whistleblower claims, as well as claims alleging breach of employment agreements, including noncompetition agreements.
Ms. Thacker also regularly advises employers and conducts trainings on various employment law issues, including the above topics.
In addition to employment law, she has also assisted employers with labor relations issues, such as defending employers against unfair labor practices and representing them before the NLRB.
Ms. Thacker has been an instructor for the labor relations course offered at Portland State University's Professional Development Center.
She earned her BA from Wake Forest University and her JD from the University of Michigan School of Law.
Ms. Thacker is licensed to practice in Oregon and Washington.
