Kimberly King, formerly of Norton Rose Fulbright, represents management in matters involving civil rights actions, breach of contract, the FMLA, FLSA, tortious interference, wrongful discharge and other employment-related litigation.
Ms. King handles matters at both the trial and appellate level, in federal and state court, and before administrative agencies such as the EEOC and Texas Workforce Commission.
She also provides counseling and training to employers regarding various personnel issues.
In addition to employment law, Ms. King also has experience with healthcare law and commercial litigation matters.
She is actively involved in the Austin Bar Association, Austin Young Lawyers Association and Austin Black Lawyers Association.
Ms. King also volunteers with several non-profit organizations, including the United Way Capital Area - Women's Leadership Council and Austin Area Urban League.
She graduated from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where she was a member of the SMU Law Review.
Ms. King is admitted to practice law in Texas, Missouri and Kansas.
